Last thursday until today we had 3 teams, So I have been very busy! The teams were from San Diego, L.A and Boston! I was on a house building team and it was my first time and it was an amazing experience! I loved it. I learned so much and had a great time and the family was blessed. The family consisted of a mom, dad and 4 children. They were also a Christian family, which was great. I built the house with the team from San Diego and a family from Arkansas. The family has been here a lot to build houses and they are a missionary family. They had a daughter named Olivia, that died almost 2 years ago and she was only 10 years old. Since then, they started a house building team and blog called Olivia's Basket and it is very powerful. To see the link, here it is:
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. (Micah 6:8)

Before the Zipline!
Hey everyone! I am so sorry I have not updated my blog in so long. I have been so so busy with the teams and other stuff. The last week we had a team from Idaho/Oregon. The team was so cool and awesome. I got really close with two girls and they are like my sisters. We did evangelism with the team and I went out with them to a church and orphanage. It was so fun going out with the team. A really cool and uplifting story is that I saw a girl I met last summer here, her name is Genesis and she remembered me. Unfortunately, now she has stomach ulcers and cannot afford the medicine or surgery. Please keep her and her family in your prayers. We now have 12 days off till the next cycle comes, so we will be cleaning and doing ministry. Today we cleaned around the base and painted a lot. Tomorrow we will do the same and also go out and minister to those in need. I went on a zipline that consisted of 5 courses and it was so fun. I almost broke my toe on the last round, but went to the hospital and it is very sprained/jammed. I will try and keep up with this blog more, it is just so hard and I apologize for the late posts. Hope all is well!
