August

Hey! I have been super busy here with the last few weeks. Last week we had our largest cycle which consisted of two teams from California and a team from Washington and England! There was 110 students and leaders here and then all of us who live here. The week was so awesome and powerful! I loved it here with the big cycle. I got to go out with the Washington team and lead them into their ministry throughout the week. We painted a church and helped buy and build two bathrooms and we also did VBS for two days, which was great. I got close with that team fast because it was pretty small and they were so easy going which rocked. One of their older leaders is going to Romania next summer for a mission trip and invited me to come with. They have a pastor from their church that has lived there in Romania for 20 years and helps and built two churches. I have a lot of other offers for next summer, so I will pray and see what God has in store for me. On the largest team, from California, I met some people last summer when I was here as a student with my church and stayed in touch with them over facebook and got to see them again this summer which was awesome! This is my last full week here in Mexico! I come home this Saturday (20) at night. I will write another blog tomorrow or the next day about my last week here. Here are some photos from this last week, enjoy!

God Bless!

Last Week

Last thursday until today we had 3 teams, So I have been very busy! The teams were from San Diego, L.A and Boston! I was on a house building team and it was my first time and it was an amazing experience! I loved it. I learned so much and had a great time and the family was blessed. The family consisted of a mom, dad and 4 children. They were also a Christian family, which was great. I built the house with the team from San Diego and a family from Arkansas. The family has been here a lot to build houses and they are a missionary family. They had a daughter named Olivia, that died almost 2 years ago and she was only 10 years old. Since then, they started a house building team and blog called Olivia's Basket and it is very powerful. To see the link, here it is:
